For this thing to work, You need to use a DC clamp for the earlier model boxy looking DC with the clamp knob on the side. I added a small round head screw to the round clamp foot to keep the DC from popping out of the clamp. I also changed out the big plastic knob screw for a smaller knurled brass knob so the DC will fit in the protective canvas bag without taking the clamp off. Now I can switch from Total Station to GPS to the canvas bag without removing the clamp.
