I just noticed that Bosshard's phone number accidentally made it's way into the photograph!  LOL

Kevin, I plan for Wisconsin weather and snow-cover giving at least ½ hour per monument to be placed or located.  The ones deeper in the woods get between 1 to 2 hours per corner.  It takes so much longer to do things with more than a 12 inches of snow on the ground.  Forget about driving where you could normally navigate with a 4 wheel drive truck; forget about a day without taking your gloves on and off nearly 50 times for some reason; forget about walking quickly, especially in snowshoes; and finally, forget about it all, because at least you aren't unemployed during the winter!  These are not happy financial times for anyone.  I would camp overnight in the snow-covered hills if it meant that I had a job in the morning. :)

  • Haven't done much of this yet this winter!
  • Usually I enjoy gearing up to battle the winter elements, but after a full day spent "digging" with a shovel, hammer, pick-axe, digging bar, leatherman etc...for 10 to 20 minutes per monument, each of which was only 2 to 5 tenths of a foot below the frozen grade...

Aw heck, who am I kidding!? I loved it! :)
  • WHERE IS THE YOUR GENERATOR AND CHIPPING HAMMER??????
