Thoughts

  • These are typically used for our Public Land Survey System Section corners, not so much for property boundary corners, they are quite expensive for that!

  • Thank you David! Looks like a great invention: They seem to be to massive to bend and the strange shape wouldn't make it easy to move them or to pull them out.

    The only "disadvantage" I could see is: Less monuments lost would mean less work for surveyors setting new ones. ;-)

  • Sorry for asking, but what is an harrison monument? I think I've never seen one, probably they are not used here. How do they look like if they are not covered by road pavement?
