I came to know about the LIDAR technology when i was studying Construction & IT module in Heriot-Watt university as a part my MSc. Construction Project Management Course, I was so interested into it and took it as my dissertation topic and did a small research about its requirements in UAE Construction industry. It is such a innovative technology which offers solution to the hard problems faced by the professional in using traditional techniques (tacheometric surveying).
