Hi,
Theres a lot of practical equipment which you can use on your own to locate underground utilities, such as the Leica Digicat http://www.tigersupplies.com/Departments/Surveying-Equipment/Pipe-a....
Just for information.
Hi I am from NZ and we have 'Dial before you Dig' here.
I have done alot of project management and the first thing that you have to do is locate services.
Not all service providers are lodged with B4 U dig, as their business model is to charge the service provider for each referal.
I guess I am saying be wary of B4 U Dig as they are a filter, and an incomplete one at that. At least in NZ.
Great post! It may be good to share it in the Safety in Surveying Group?
