Adding XY Data in ArcGIS (using tabular data that has geographic coordinates)

You can add tabular data directly to a ArcGIS map if it has coordinate data for theh X and Y coordinates – examples might be

Does anybody have some good sites that stream data into ArcGIS.

ArcGIS comes with some pre-loaded streams, but there must be some more "area specific" locations to get information from.

If you know of any, please post them here so that we can all find
