I surveyed for 4 years under a PLS at an engineering firm. I performed numerous constructions surveys ranging from simple curbs to stadium columns. I also performed topographic surveys and some boundary surveys. I continued my education in graduate school where I employed many of these skills in my research on a river restoration/hydrogeological study. Recently, I have been teaching at a Tribal College in a Hydrology program where I have been emphasizing survey skills. We recently purchased a GNSS system and S3 robotic total station to integrate into our undergraduate and faculty research.
