I found Professional Land Surveyor on LinkedIn and decided that I would like to see what it is all about. I have been in the profession for 30+ years, and have ran everything in the Trimble line from the 4000 series to the R-8's. I started as an Artillery Surveyor in the army with the PADS system. (Position Azimuth Determining System) and never stopped with GPS. I prefer GPS over any conventional survey methods, although there is a time and place for both. I enjoy the boundary aspect of survey and have recovered many original monuments in ND an Montana.
