I am originally from West Virginia. Have lived in Georgia since I graduated from West Virginia Institute of Technology with a BS in Surveying May 1984. Father was a surveyor, beginning in the uranium mines in New Mexico. Most of his surveying was done in WV. Like most sons of surveyors, I was always the one to fill in if someone didn't show up for work. Currently work for J. A. Evans and Associates, licensed since 1990. Also full time professor of surveying at Kennesaw State University, Southern Polytechnic School of Engineering and Engineering Technology, 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060. Georgia Surveyor of the Year, 2014. Six children. Both sons are surveyors, oldest is licensed and working for a company in WV. Youngest works for a surveying firm in Marietta, GA.
I have experience with the following
topographic, boundary surveys, construction staking, topographic surveys, teaching, Survey Office, Expert Testimony
