Started surveying in 1974 out of h.s. as a rodman. Then instrument man. Then came into office to calculate on HP. Then became a crew chief and had a 3 man crew. Then came back in office to draft using softdesk and now civil 3D 2011. I love surveying and the historical aspect of surveying. There needs to be a uniting universally of the profession with conferences and exchange of professional procedures.
