I surveyed a tract of land 10 years ago and have now been ask to survey the adjoiner. My iron rod has actually been driven out of the way by the other company setting their own iron rod.

I found the description generated by the other firm in the public record. Turns out they are calling for my iron rod as the corner. Some how this was apparently not communicated to their field crew. I have to say that their field crew must have some poor training if they drive their own iron rods on top of existing irons though.
