Its amazing original autentic old imperial russian men's cap.
Old and very rare hat, was found in estate family collection.
A lovely old cap for any antique collector, it will glorify any house.

Russian Imperial peaked cap Land surveyor land surveyor officials of the Ministry of Agriculture and State Property. Stamp Kherson city Suvorovskaya street atelier M.D. Perelmuter house Tarle. Pre-revolutionary (external feature - 3 edges used in the first years of Soviet power until 1928 - 2 edges). 55-56 size. History of the subject. The street in the plan of the city of Kherson in 1855 was named Suvorovskaya in honor of Alexander Vasilievich Suvorov, an outstanding Russian commander. Suvorov was a participant in the Russian-Turkish war of 1769-1774, from which he returned as a lieutenant general. He visited Kherson in 1782, 1783-1784, 1786 and in May 1787 in the retinue of Catherine II. On January 6, 1787, Suvorov was appointed commander of the Kremenchug division of the Yekaterinoslav army, and on August 8, 1787, after the declaration of war by Turkey, he led the fortification of the Kinburn-Kherson defensive site. On October 1, under his command, a 5,000-strong Turkish landing near the Kinburn fortress was repulsed. On November 10, 1792, Suvorov was appointed commander of the troops in the Yekaterinoslav province and the Tauride region, with headquarters in Kherson on Suvorovskaya Street, where he lived from January 1793 to May 1794.Suvorovskaya Street abounded with shops and businesses; there were government offices, credit institutions, and various societies.
In 1927, Suvorovskaya Street was renamed 1st May Street, and in May 1941 it was renamed Suvorov Street.
The postcard shows the house of R.A. Tarle, in the corner part of which was located the Vurshtatman pharmacy known in Kherson. The pharmacy and cosmetic shop of the pharmacist D.A. was also located here. Pinter, as well as the editorial office of the Yug newspaper. The building has not survived. Destroyed in the mid 70s. Currently, the Suvorovsky shopping and entertainment center has been built on this site.
