Who has had a bad encounter with a wild animal or a "domesticated" animal, such as a bull, hog, ram, or stallion? I have had a few close calls, but I am thinking your experiences are probably more noteworthy.

"BEAR ATTACKS SURVEYOR
CENTRALIA, Wash., May 10. -- (Special.) --- While running transit lines near McCormick, Chester Ort, a Centralia engineer, was attacked by a huge black bear. Ort had only a .32 caliber revolver with him, but he emptied the weapon at close range and was fortunate in reaching a vital spot on the beast. The bear was a big one and the skin, which Ort has as a memento of his encounter, is a valuable one."
