I am a 28 year old young man from Whitehouse Station, New Jersey. I graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2010 with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Surveying Technology. I began my surveying career after graduation for Bohren and Bohren Associates, a small family owned and operated engineering and surveying firm, located in Flemington, New Jersey. There I conducted many types of surveys including boundary surveys for the green acres program, a program created to save open land in New Jersey. I moved to San Diego in February 2012 and began working for Walsh Engineering and Surveying. Both of these opportunities have given me the chance to learn and gain practical field experience as a field crew member. I have surveyed in many types of terrain and climates from your typical cold, snow covered north east winters, to your dry and extremely hot south west summer days, and can truly say I have enjoyed all of it. After Hurricane Sandy passed through the north east I returned home to help family and friends with their recovery efforts. For the last year I have been working for Landmark Surveying and Engineering located in Avon-by-the Sea, New Jersey. I have been heavily involved in the reconstruction of destroyed homes, bulkheads, and the replenishment of the beaches. This job has allowed me to perform in both the field and office. I enjoy the forest and mountains the most and would love the chance to be part of an exciting surveying experience in new terrain.
