First visit to the castle

On Monday, after the arrival we visited the castle the first time.There isn't much left: The wooden palisades and buildings rotted away, the stone walls crumbled and where covered with dirt during over 1000 years. All that remains are some earth walls and ditches.The red and white tape was no barrier but was placed there temporarily by the city archaeology of Einbeck for orientation during a archaeological examination of this area.
