A topographic survey work undertaken way back in 2000 for a banana plantation GIS/mapping project. It covers 10,000 hectares and is the biggest banana plantation in the Philippines. GIS development project was concurrently undertaken by my office.

Yes, it is a huge banana plantation. To my memory, a 40 footer van leaves every 5 to 15min to its own wharf for worldwide delivery.
That a big Banana Plantation..if there was a banana tree in every meter, there could easily be a million trees there.
My unforgettable experience in this project was the multiple incidences of King Cobra sightings.
