PLSS 3 Point Control Question ?

Hello Fellow Surveyors,

 

I am preparing for a registration exam. I found a great GLO refresher course online from a surveyor from Washington state. In the course there is a problem on 3 Point Control, I understand most of the problem but am stuck on the last part. Any help would be appreciated. Please see attached pdf with redline comments. Please see attached link to course.

    Morning Gary,

    Thanks for getting back to me, I'm working on the Oklahoma specific exam. I'm familiar with witnesstree, I believe that is Dennis Mouland from the BLM. I have read his articles and followed his CFED presentations, seems like a great guy.

     

    I contribute to a website,http://surveyorresourcepage.com/forum/login.asp?target=default.asp, that helps prepare for exams. It has nearly 400 typical exam questions from reputable sources, the questions are illustrated with back up material. The registration is free, once in go to forums and you will see Exam Preparation,

    Hi Paul,

    I'm studying the same types of PLSS examples/problems that you are, in preparation for my next attempt at passing the Oregon Specific exam. I have found a good resource at http://www.witnesstreeconsulting.com, Dennis has several distance learning courses that I think are a must have for your studies. I have found that the Washington DNR have several refresher pdf's available for review, their latest is an updated version from 2012. You'll find it here: http://www.dnr.wa.gov/BusinessPermits/Topics/Surveys/Pages/eng_plso....

    ALSO I will look into the problem you posted and see what I can come up with.
