JOB DESCRIPTION
Survey Lead will assist the Party Chief in all aspects of traditional survey and/or dimensional control as stand alone application or in support of 3D laser scanning data acquisition and management. Field project work will be executed in a variety of environments from upstream/downstream oil & gas, civil infrastructure, architectural, construction management, governmental or historical restoration to name a few. Candidate will be required to become proficient in hardware and software used in 3D laser data collection, processing and management. This job offers an excellent opportunity to gain new skills and abilities in a fast growing, in-demand, high-technology field.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have at least 2-years experience in traditional survey.
Background in CAD or 3D visualization software a plus. High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
Honorably Discharged Veterans encouraged to apply.
Must hold valid US passport or US Permanent Residence Card in order to obtain clearance to secure and/or classified government or industrial facilities (ie. naval bases, nuclear power plants) to execute contract project-work.
Must have excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
ABSOLUTE JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must have a positive work ethic and the ability to follow proven methodologies and established project execution workflows.
ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST.
Must be willing to travel extensively both domestically and internationally; and to work in challenging environments (ie. off-shore facilities, mining camps, extreme temperatures) for extended periods of time.
Must be able to safely carry sensitive, high-value equipment weighing up to 85 pounds vertically and horizontally for substantial distances.
Must be able to pass background checks, drug screens and safety tests in order to execute contract project-work in government and/or industrial facilities.
STARTING COMPENSATION
$18/hr 1st 90 days then $21/hr. OT/ benefits included. Potential for advancement based on candidates abilities. The company compensates and promotes based on performance.
