Hi Arnel! we enjoy a similar sense of humor. I prefer that my partner wears the GPS receiver backpack, and also my backpack, and also everything else we need when we rove around. I prefer only to carry the responsibility of my license to practice land surveying. Once again I joke. :) Sometimes I carry my own backpack which is full of important things like a good book, a swimming suit, and some fireworks.
I also have a very light Made in China foldable aluminum chair. I can attach it to my backpack while roving around. This is a way of making my work also a picnic. I have all my stuff with me when I rove around.
Hi Scott! I prefer using the smart antenna rather than wearing the receiver backpack to give me the chance to wear my backpack for my water, snacks, lunch, first aid kit, and so on.
(Kiddingly), are we taller now because we don't wear backpacks with our GPS equipment anymore? Oops, I still have a Leica SR530. Perhaps that's why I am still 175 centimeters tall and shrinking?
