Michael, I've seen and used most all of the major carriers, AT@T/Cingular data was like $60 month/12 months ago, T Mobile (Walmart has a two phone plan one unlimited and the other 200 limited minutes/voice, but they will work it data not sure of price) But, I've attached you a FAQ's about the ZMax.net system setup, you may just need to check back through this. I guess you swapped the radio or blank module for the GSM simm module side panel(If you needed one let me know)Plus you have to change it in the firmware internal tree from UHF to GSM. Sorry i didn't look to see if that information was included in the FAQ. But should be in your operators manual Here is the FAQ. Good luck let me know if you found the problem. Thanks Skip Farrow
The new LSU search engine loads a lot of threads related to the ZMax FYI
    • The Zmax died, I still have a radio module and a simm radio module, and battery and of course the none working zmax, let me know if your interested in any  of them, also I have 2 Rascal8 I never used cause I cant get a cable to transmit corrections (I have data cable, but dont know how to fix it to work)

  • Not having a Z-max - not know for sure.  Will it allow you to format the card then try it?
