The use of surveying drones can be good to get an aerial view of storm surge disaster areas, such as that due to the storm surge caused by typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) made landfall in Leyte Island (Philippines) on the 8th of November 2013, bringing with it devastating high winds and a storm surge that swept through coastal areas
