What are Survey Points?
Points are the New Posts
We like to experiment with new ideas here inside the Land Surveyors United Community, especially when the outcome involves helping the surveyors of the world become better connected. Survey Points is like having Survey Earth in a Day Event every single day. The idea is to provide a way to add the FOTD or Today's Jobsite or even a historic marker / monument you want to show your fellow surveyors. Think of Survey Points as a community geolocated blog for surveyors and by surveyors.
- Start with a Location
- Construct the HTML needed to add your map to the post with Geometadata
- Copy the Geocode to Your Post as HTML
- Give the post a Unique Title (mention location)
- Switch from HTML view to Editor and Upload your Photos and add your post description
- Categorize by Region or Continent
- Add Tags for Country, State, City, Neighborhood
