The link above is the pair I own. I am partial to lace up, but that is just my personal preference. I usually give my business to Bass Pro Shops since it is local here in Nashville. I have always had good luck with these and if you have a problem with them, there is always the 'no questions asked' return policy. Can't beat that! Go try a few pair on, just need to keep in mind their weight since you will be walking long hours in them.

Most of the time, yes. Snake boots aren't just for snakes, they provide protection against thorns and brush as well as tick and chigger prevention. If I am performing construction staking, I generally do not wear them.
