Theodolite Photos in Community

First time setting up a theodolite (2 years ago)

This was a photo of me roughly 2 years ago. This was my team's first time setting up a theodolite as we were fresh from our general education courses and just recent took up elementary surveying courses. Took us about almost an hour to set it up correctly. Now we set up total stations in less than 15 minutes. Looking back makes me realize how much we've grown as a team and as individual surveyors

This consist of a gyroscope mounted to a theodolite(Wild T2). It basically used to determine the orientation of TRUE NORTH by locating the meridian direction.

An old Wild T2 theodolite we used during a exercise on the roof of the building of the Geodetic Institute.It was winter, quite cold and snow everywhere.We where measuring the angles between some church towers as an exercise, but then it started to snow again and we couldn't see them anymore.
