Proficiency in surveying software.
Extensive experience working in a team environment

Assistant or Associate Land Surveyor
Diamond West, Inc. (Calabasas, California)
Conduct research in the area of surveying.
Perform calculations and field surveying on control, boundary, site, topographic, ALTA, design and construction survey projects.
Conventional GPS and LIDAR data post-processing.
Perform field surveys and construction staking services.
Prepare maps and exhibits of record, records of survey, final maps, lot-line adjustments encumbrance maps, and legal descriptions in accordance with the State of California.
Minimum Requirements:
4 years of land surveying work experience.
Theoretical and practical knowledge of land surveying and mapping.
Computer proficiency with AutoCAD, LDD, Civil 3D, and survey software, maintaining awareness of the latest technologies in surveying engineering.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
Valid California drivers license.
Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT), or the ability to obtain one within one year.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Surveying, Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
