Nautiz X3 vs. Nautiz X7

As inquiries start to pour in regarding the Nautiz line of Handheld-US devices, I'm beginning to see some of the differences between models which warrant a discussion.  In fact there may need to be a series of these comparison discussions, but lets start with comparing the Nautiz X3 and the Nautiz X7 handhelds, as they relate closely to surveying applications.  Keep in mind that these devices are now available for sale on Land Surveyors United beginning this week, as LSU has now become an official partner with Handheld-US.  More on this partnership to come...let's begin.

Nautiz X3 Is a Pocket Sized Powerhouse

The Nautiz X3's compact performance is complemented by extreme ruggedness, ready for the most challenging work conditions. An IP65 rating means it's is impervious to dust and highly resistant to water. And if you accidentally drop it, don't worry - the Nautiz X3 can withstand repeated drops from 1.8 meters.

Beyond being small, powerful and rugged, the Nautiz X3 is also full of the integrated standard features you want. It has a sunlight-readable 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen and a keypad with backlit alphanumeric keys plus separate function buttons. There's a 3-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, a standard 1D laser barcode scanner and an optional 2D imager.
