This is the first test of the VirtuRange DIY LIDAR 3D Scanner. A Laser Rangefinder is mounted on two stepper motors. The motors are controlled by an Arduino. A Python script reads the distance from the rangefinder and calculates the pointcloud from the position of the stepper motors. www.diy3Dscan.com, www.virtumake.com
