Surveying is the technique, profession, and science of determining the terrestrial or three-dimensional position of points and the distances and angles between them. Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) is an enhancement to Global Positioning System that provides improved location accuracy, from the 15-meter nominal GPS accuracy to about 10 cm in case of the best implementations. DGPS uses a network of fixed, ground-based reference stations to broadcast the difference between the positions indicated by the GPS satellite systems and the known fixed positions. (Thank You WIKI ) In this modern era, the data should be accurate and precise. This DGPS gives exact Latitude and Longitude of the point required. There are two types of Survey which can be done using DGPS. They are Static and RTK. In Static Survey, both the DGPS works as a Rover and receives the Signal from Satellites. Wanna Know More Please Check out the Whole Video!! And Also thinking What is RTK Survey, than do watch our next Video Regarding the same!! :) Our GEC, Bhavnagar has DGPS of Leica Geo Systems. The whole process from unpacking, setting it up and using is shown in this video step by step. Please Listen and understand carefully.
