Height of Instrument is one of the important method to find out the Reduced Levels (RL's) of the ground. This method is also known as Collimation method. In this video detailed method of how to calculate RL's is explained thoroughly with the help of figure, solving a numerical, how to enter surveyed readings in field book and applying arithmetic check. At 18.38 min for 150 chainage for change point 1 (CP1) by mistake of slip of tongue i have said RL-BS but it is RL+BS and calculations are correct thereafter, only pronunciation i have made slight mistake, humble apology from my side
