Using a prototype Gauge Frame Level to show the difference between a level contour line, a 1% down slope, and a 2% down slope. A normal A-Frame Level does well at surveying a level contour line for a swale, but the Gauge Frame Level allows you to start surveying out lines and laybacks for keyline plowing and terraces as well as many other things without having to get expensive surveying equipment.
