If you're in the pathway to be a professional surveyor, there are a few challenges you'll need to face before you start your new career. The NCEES administers the Fundamentals of Surveying exam. This is among the toughest professional licensing tests in any industry. The Fundamentals of Surveying exam contains roughly 110 questions and takes about six hours to complete.
