Attended a flight school for a new type of Unmanned Aerial System (UAS / UAV); specifically designed for surveying and mapping. This one is made by Gatewing, an innovative Belgian company that has the whole flight/camera system along with the software to produce rectified ortho phitis and terrain models. Too much fun, but also very functional. Companion video for the July 2012 article in Professional Surveyor Magazine.
