I started my career in surveying on a survey crew designing roads and campgrounds for the USFS in the Toiyabe National Forest. Some of the tasks performed: slope staking, Elevation checks, Calculation of cut and fill for roads. I have been a student of surveying ever since. I am currently employed as a mechanical engineer at John Deere, I have been responsible for adopting 3D Scanners for manufacturing and am interested in expanding my knowledge of Total Stations and other new surveying technology.
