For the past six years I have been developing and honing my skills in cartography and Geographic Information Systems. I received my Bachelors Degree Humboldt State University and am now working on a Masters Degree through John Hopkins University. In addition to my studies I also have a background in Forestry, Land Management and Humanities Studies. I grew up running barefoot in the mountains of Southern California where I developed a deep love and passion for the natural world. Now that I am grown I would like to help preserve our natural areas by increasing our understanding of the symbiotic relationships between species and the environment. Ideally I would like to specialize in humanitarian and ecological aid relief projects, such as counter-mapping and dissemination of visual data ( i.e. maps ).
