I have +/- 20 years experience in the survey industry. I started as a rodman on a pipeline project called WYCAL (Wyoming to California). I chained 86 miles from just east of Coalville, Utah west across the Wasatch Front and over Bountiful Peak down into Salt Lake. We tied into another crews survey on the S,W side of Salt Lake City. Half of my experience has been Pipeline surveying from preliminary all the way through as-built. The other half has been with local Survey companies where I excelled at construction layout, Topographic and boundary surveying.
