My experience began at 1999 when I was hired at a technical company as a developer of internal geospatial software applications. Within a year i was involved in collecting and post processing of terrain field data through aerial photos or geodetic measurements using a combination of satellite (GPS) receivers and/or a total station, thus providing accurate representations of terrain model for any needed application (cadastral/land register, road and hydraulic design projects, environmental projects, etc). At 2003 i resigned to fulfill my military obligations, during which i served as an officer covering the army's land surveying needs. According to the Greek law the value of the projects i concluded sums up to over 70000 euros. From 2005 until now i am running my own business serving my community's needs as a Land Surveyor, working on applications such as property boundary delimitation and legal arrangement, stake out applications of miscellaneous designs at construction sites, technical settlement of private properties' land registrations, urban charting for proper building and miscellaneous construction designs, terrain model representation of open quarry sites, volume calculations of materials being cut/filled at construction sites and generally anything that answers to the geospatially related questions "where" and "how much". My goal is to expand my experience to other similar fields of geospatial applications either domestically or abroad.
