Survey Tech / AutoCAD Drafter needed

Immediate opening for “Survey Technician/AutoCAD Drafter” with a small (8-10 employees) Surveying & Engineering firm located in Torrington, Wyoming. We are willing to train the right candidate. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the fields of land surveying, engineering, records research, and drafting. Additionally, experience with construction administration and observation is preferable.

 

Ideally our technicians/LSI’s grow to supervise and/or perform all office and field aspects of a project, varying according to the skills, experience, and desires of the successful candidate. Our workload offers variety, including records research, construction layout, boundary & topographic surveying, construction observation & administration, AutoCAD drafting, GPS, and GIS technology.

 

We are a small, busy firm offering a great work environment, opportunity for advancement, and fully reimbursed continuing education. Our projects are local, travel is not required. We offer vacation, sick leave, retirement with employer match, and fully paid health/dental/vision insurance for the employee. Starting salary range is $40,000 - $50,000 (plus benefits), commensurate with experience.

 

Located in Torrington, Wyoming, we enjoy a quiet, friendly area which has a rich history, fantastic access to nature, and well-funded schools.  While Torrington is commercially entirely self-sufficient, we also have the benefit of being not too far from the conveniences of several larger cities.
