POSITION TYPE:Temporary with potential for regular full time
LOCATION: Albany/Newburgh NY

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 2 Years of experience using AutoCAD and/or Microstation In roads and processing field survey points into Boundary and Topographic maps. Basic understanding of deeds. Ability to work as part of a team under the direction of a Project Manager. Strong communication skills
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for performing selected drafting assignments, quickly and accurately as well as other support tasks for the Survey Department. Transform project designs in preliminary form into CADD produced drawings. Produces perspective drawings, base drawings, maps and illustrations by using CADD. Reduce field notes from raw data to base maps. Review grade sheets. Prepare boundary resolutions. Prepare metes and bounds descriptions. Perform stakeout computations for the field crews, research deeds and titles and perform deed plots

Survey Party Chief (Albany/Newburgh NY)

POSITION TYPE:Temporary with potential of Regular Full-Time

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:Minimum 10 years of field survey experience and at least 5 years of experience as a Party Chief.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an energetic, adaptable and solution oriented person with very good communication skills. Must be able to take and follow instructions but also be able to think independently. This person will be able to demonstrate experience in a variety of surveys including:
boundary and ALTA, topographic, aerial ground control, construction layout, utility and horizontal/vertical control surveys.

Candidates must be proficient with data collectors and data collection techniques, conventional field notes and sketches, total stations, leveling, and in reporting accurate survey information resulting from the field work.
The ability to use a laptop with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook is also necessary.
