The 63rd Annual FSMS Conference is just around the corner! We hope you decide to join us this year at the TradeWinds Island Grand Resort, located on the beautiful St. Pete Beach.
As one of the largest surveying and mapping associations in the country, our goal is to host a conference that reflects the stature of our Society. Each and every year, we pride ourselves on hosting guests from across all geospatial-related industries.
Our aim is to provide education and inform on advancements and developments in our profession, all the while promoting a venue for personal networking and engagement for the surveying profession that no other event in Florida can rival. If you mix these factors with the scheduled events - such as the annual BBQ contest, awards presentation, live entertainment, and game night - you'll find out why our conference has people coming back every year. We'll see you in August!
St. Pete Beach: Rated the #7 Beach in the USA 2018 by TripAdvisor
Saint Pete Beach is famous for its golden-white sand and aquatic activities, such as parasailing, stand-up paddle boarding and windsurfing. This gorgeous, laid-back beach is also known for glorious sunsets. "The sand is soft and easy to walk on. The water was gentle and clean. The place is well-groomed and offers a huge expanse of play area," commented a TripAdvisor reviewer.

5500 Gulf Blvd, St Pete Beach, FL 33706"You meet a lot of people at the conference. You learn. Your local competitors won't help you out, because you're competitors. But if you're out of town at the conference, everyone figures hey, they're not my competition, so I don't care. You share a lot of things, how you do indexing, how you bill, what have you learned about this, etc."
