Glenda is a Graduate of Ferris State University with a BS in Surveying Engineering and a Professional Surveyor Licensed in Michigan. Glenda began her career with MDOT as an intern on the statewide leveling crew and then as an entry level surveyor in 2001 within the Survey Support Unit. In which she supervised the summer intern crews and provided survey support internally and for MDOT Consultants. In 2011 Glenda left the department to become founder and President of Geospatial Professionals, where she was a consultant surveyor for both MDOT and private Survey companies. In her current role within the Survey Support Unit at MDOT, where she has been since 2017, her main responsibility is the support of MDOT construction staff in utilizing emergent technologies in construction inspection and training construction staff using GPS, total stations and digital delivery of data for AMG projects.
