Where are you surveying?

Carl-Johan, I think the replies before yours were a bit tongue-in-cheek.  99% of my encounters with people are positive.  Our work really is appreciated.  Misunderstood, or at least viewed as mystical and nebulous at times, but mostly appreciated all the same.  I can not even count the number of clients that have thanked me for what I was able to accomplish for them.  The proof is in the pudding!

  • Very true, very true. But from time to time, there are actually people that are happy to see you aswell :)

  • This is so true, at least on every site in the last two weeks I had someone wondering if I was a "private surveyor" or a "government" one?  "Oh, I thought maybe you were gonna widen the road or something" seems to be the reply when I tell them I'm private.

Funny how the mere presence of a Land Surveyor invokes the imagination of something that is usually so far from the truth that it seems like a threat or a bad dream gone wrong, like is the railroad really going here?
