"So I would start with making sure your measuring your Hi's to the correct mark on the rod. Then I would see if any adjustments were done for those points directly from caltrans or whomever if you know what I mean when you get a chance get off…"

"Question implies you are dealing with a PLSS project.  Initial points are the basis for the PLSS subdivisions.  I am not versed with those in Oregon.  Please refer to a BLM Manual."
