Where are you surveying?

Student Surveyor

Hi everyone,

anyone of you experienced in styling a WMS with OSM (Open Street Map) data with the INSPIRE standard? I can't even find a map or WMS using all INSPIRE standards.Ā

As far as I know each country is doing some WMS maps with some standards of INSPIRE, but in Germany we use several different colours compared to the INSPIRE standard.

We're having a really hard time with all the standards and we have no idea how to style our WMS.

So the final question, does someone have a Clou how to style a WMS with the INSPIRE standard using SLD to style the WMS and has someone used Geoserver for such project or only a GIS program like QGIS?

Thanks Ted, I know the website. But I can't find an example of a map that shows all the standards. A wms would be even better but I can't find one either.

We now changed the styling standard from the European standard (INSPIRE) to the German standard, in which case we have maps as examples.

It's an interesting task to create our own WMS but also tyring because we can't really find the right standard to style the maps.
