i use Microsurvey field genius which has gps on it along with the total station software.

Read moreā¦when the townlines were surveyed in the 1700's the lines were straight lines from corner to corner. today we survey the parcel which has a line on the town line and hold the stonewall that was built. there's townline bounds in between these corners.
