Surveyor Bio:
. Serve as Senior Product Leader for in-house survey and mapping project, in support of the Real Estate Product Line and in-house design group. Provides training and monitors performance. Provide input to scope of work and prepares government cost estimate for surveying and mapping projects.
. Serves as the Cadastral subject matter expert for the Navy on the development and deployment of DOD Installation Visualization Tool.
. Serves as the Real Estate Product Line subject matter expert for the development and deployment of the iFACMAN. Provides input to training plans and provides training and mentoring to technical staff. Coaches staff as the senior expert and focal point on state of art advances.
. Serves as Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR) for A-E, Indefinite Quality (IQ) surveying and mapping contracts. Develops records management protocols to facilitate information sharing, coordination and distribution for asset management, enhance use leasing and PPV within Real Estate and other business line. Provides expert witness on behalf of the Navy for Surveying and mapping issues.
. Serves as the cadastral subject matter expert as a member of the team developing the NAVFAC Guidelines for Installation Mapping and Geospatial Data.
. Serves as Senior Project Leader for special management projects. Manages a mission-aligned, engaged, and high-performing team. Leads by example and fosters high ethical standards in meeting the organization's vision, mission, and goals. Clearly articulates command strategic goals and how employee actions relate. Managerial Proficiency

. Serves as chairperson or member of A-E selection boards and Technical Evaluation Boards and as senior technical advisor for Source Selection Boards. Completes all performance management tasks in a timely manner.
. Develops performance plans to include elements and standards that identify clear and measurable tasks and results aligned with Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) mission and goals.

Ensures mission-critical work is accomplished based on established milestones.

Professional Cadastral Surveying and Mapping Products and Services
. Provide Professional Cadastral Surveying and Mapping Products and Services to NAVFAC WASHINGTON AM1 Real Estate Business Line, CORE, and IPTs in accordance to the P-73 Real Estate Procedural Manual, pursuant to SECNAVINST 11011, General Policies, Authority, and Responsibilities. Obtain a clear understanding of customer's Cadastral needs and recommend cost effective solutions.
. Prepare quality Cadastral products and services that fulfill the requirements of the Real Estate action. Deliver professional Cadastral products and services in a timely manner.
. Prioritize and execute cadastral programs, projects, and services to meet NAVFAC WASHINGTON Real Estate's goals, objectives, and timelines.
. Professional knowledge of the concepts, principles and techniques of land surveying, including underlying mathematics and physical science, in combination with practical knowledge of land ownership laws and geographic information system (GIS).
. Skills to serve as senior expert in providing evaluation/recommendations as an authoritative source of consultation for others; and perform a key role in resolving issues that significantly affect the program area throughout the region.
. Mastery associated business line and knowledge of other business lines' principles, practices, and concepts including: planning, environmental, architecture, engineering, real estate, natural resources and contracts.
. Skills as a recognized expert consultant in dealings and communications with all levels, (e.g., the Command, the United State Attorney, or other agencies of the Government.) Where survey projects of importance to the Navy are of controversial nature, prepares and gives evidence supporting the Navy's position.
. Knowledge of contracting of government services as well as knowledge of the contractor selection process.
