Land Surveyor

Veteran Tripod

This old but not in the way tripod is one of my favorites to carry for miles in a day because it is lightweight.

  • Yes, it must be Leica. I haven't tried your bee spray yet but I'll let you know as soon as I have the opportunity to try it. If it really works then I'll spread the news. Thank you very much for the information Scott! :)

Arnel, have you tested the bee spray?

This is a tripod that is over 30 years old.  Not sure which brand, but everything of that vintage we have is Leica, notice the tribrach - also Leica and also old.  The shoes are my ankle-high V-Tec hiking boots made by Hi-Tec.  I need a new pair of boots.  Veteran tripods are okay, but veteran boots, not so much.

  • That must be a nice surveying shoes too.. :)

  • Beautiful. It appears a wooden tripod. This must be a very good tripod as it sustains trough time and abuse. What brand? :)
