As product literature provides, Trimble GeoXH employs the VRS. We all know that DGPS provides superior output than the VRS based system. This is the reason why I wish to know based on your experience the magnitude of difference between the two systems. Thank you. :)
Sorry for that very brief question. What I really mean is the accuracy difference between the two. :)
Differential GPS is an advanced form of GPS that provides the accurate guidance data you need for precision survey operations. Differential corrections can be obtained from several sources: your own base station, the worldwide network of DGPS radiobeacons, or a satellite differential service provider.
The network of DGPS radiobeacons throughout the world is rapidly expanding and the signals that most radiobeacons transmit are free. There are also a number of satellite differential service provider options including subscription services you pay for.On the otherhand the mapping gps only uses the satellites
What's the difference? :)
