I work in the Transportation field, and use the roading feature daily. When in the Stake Road function, I am having issues using the reference object setting when staking by a section file, ie staking the Finish grade for an EP and also Staking the Back of Curb, Back of Curb being my reference object selected. The issue I keep having is that when selecting the reference object, it locks up the data collector. I have a work around as in going into the section file and obtaining the back of curb elevation and punching that elevation in once I have stored the shot. It is a bit time consuming from a construction stand point and I am not the only on in my company that is having this issue. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue, and if so what was the fix. We keep checking for updates, but have not seen any.

Thanks

Carlson SurvCE ver 2.58 Localisationhttps://landsurveyorsunited.com/hubs/carlsonsupportgroup/forum/carlson-survce-ver-2-58-localisation2015-12-28T09:17:40.000Z2015-12-28T09:17:40.000ZAndrew Hopehttps://landsurveyorsunited.com/surveyors/AndrewHope

Hi can anyone please help. I am splitting a large cadastral layout into managable portions. After doing the initial site localisation I want to use this same localisation file for each of the portions as separate surveys without revisiting all the points used in the localisation yet starting each portion as a new job. Is this possible? I thought of doing the localisation as a job then saving it to the pc, then renaming this file for each of the portions of 100+ plots being surveyed

IS IT POSSIBLE TO PERFORM A PPK SURVEY USING SURVCEhttps://landsurveyorsunited.com/hubs/carlsonsupportgroup/forum/is-it-possible-to-perform-a-ppk-survey-using-survce2014-12-06T00:19:07.000Z2014-12-06T00:19:07.000ZETTAQY Elmakkyhttps://landsurveyorsunited.com/surveyors/ETTAQYElmakky

Hello friend,

Can someone who has an experience with Carlson surveCE answer me, I want to know if it's possible to perform a PPK survey using this field software, using Trimble or Topcon receivers, I dont need only to record raw data as I see in videos on YouTube, but need surveying points while recording data and typing feature codes like Trimble Survey Controller or Topcon TopSurv software. I know how to create the contours and the TIN map, but how do I create a file that can be loaded into our collectors.

Am I completely lost, or has any one else tried something similar?
