Land Surveyor

I'm using the Trimble SX10 to undertake scans of short sections of motorway for the purpose of deformation monitoring.

As expected and due to the fact that the road is live the resultant point clouds include a significant amount of "noise" generated by passing traffic. I am attempting to remove this otherwise spurious data in TBC but whenever I go to save my project (prudent or so I thought) large parts and sometimes the whole cloud simply disappears.

I've done the usual swith off and on again, checked the graphics driver but invariably have had to reload the data and start from scratch.

Has anyone encountered similar issues with TBC which until now have found to be quite a robust processing platform.

    Hi Ian,

How much free space do you have on your machines disk, and how many scans are you working with? You're on version 4.10? I've had weird things happen when my disk is approaching full.

I would recommend making a post on TBC's community forum, I have had luck getting help there.
