Hello LSU community!

I'm not a surveyor, but have been working close to this field for a long time. Assisted in the development of a Layout Protocol at the last GC I worked at. Currently I'm tasked with learning how to use a Faro laser scanner to improve the as-built/ measured documents of a 50 acre utility facility. Will be working hand in hand with a Pro Surveyor and a robotic total station to geolocate all of our scans and be as accurate as possible. Eventually will be looking at the best way to translate into bentley BIM. Looking to learn and share when possible.
